The Maxcam7 records in:

This gives you flexibility between ultra-high resolution and smooth slow-motion playback.

  • Ensure the microSD card inserted in your Maxcam is a Class 10 U3 high-speed card capable of handling large 4K video files.
  • Disconnect your camera from the app.
  • Minimize the Maxcam Connect app on your device.
  • Try the connection process again.
  • Your media should appear on the second connection attempt.
  1. Connect your Maxcam Solo to the Maxcam Connect app.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll down until you see Auto Rotate.
  4. Turn this feature to the Off position.

Yes. The Maxcam7 connects via Wi-Fi to the Maxcam Connect app, allowing you to:

Yes. The Maxcam7 includes a built-in microphone. Avoid covering the microphone while mounting the camera. The microphone is located at the bottom of the camera, directly below the lens.

The Maxcam7 utilizes magnification designed to closely resemble what the human eye sees, rather than the exaggerated wide-angle look commonly found on traditional action cameras.

Yes. Recording in 1080p at higher frame rates, such as 60fps or 120fps, allows you to create smooth slow-motion playback. Recording in these modes will reduce the video resolution to 1080p.

The Maxcam7 is built with sensors optimized for outdoor conditions, including dawn and dusk.

Note: You do not need to manually connect to the camera through your device's Settings app. Open the Maxcam Connect app and follow the connection process. The app will prompt you to connect.

  1. Ensure Wi-Fi is turned on for both the camera and your device. Swipe down on the camera touchscreen while the camera is not recording to access this setting.
  2. Ensure Location Services are enabled on your device.
  3. Ensure photo access is enabled for the Maxcam Connect app.

If these steps do not work, delete the Maxcam Connect app and reinstall it. Once reinstalled, accept all requested location, photo, and Wi-Fi permissions, then follow the steps above again.

  • Use a USB-A to USB-C cable included with the camera.
  • Use a 5W output charging block for best results.
  • Ensure the battery is properly seated.
  • A solid red light near the charging port indicates the camera is charging.
  • The red charging light will turn off once charging is complete.
  • Charging may take up to 4 hours.

Yes. The Maxcam7 includes a 2-year limited manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

Register Your Maxcam

Yes. Maxcam batteries and compatible mounts can be used with Tactacam 5.0 and 6.0 cameras.

  1. Ensure your camera is not recording.
  2. Swipe down on the touchscreen to open the camera menu.
  3. Tap the top-left menu option labeled RF Remote.
  4. Toggle the remote feature ON. The switch will turn green.
  5. Turn your Maxcam Remote on by pressing the power button once.
  6. Wait approximately 10–30 seconds for the camera to pair automatically.
  7. Repeat this process to connect up to 10 cameras to the same remote.
